Evaluation Navigator Session
A one-time consultation to help you make sense of past evaluations—without redoing the process.

If your child has already had testing—through an IEP, Early Start, Regional Center, or another provider—you may still feel unclear about what it all means. Evaluations can be filled with technical language, confusing scores, and vague recommendations. You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

The Evaluation Navigator Session is a one-time, parent-focused consultation designed to help you understand what’s already been done and feel confident about what comes next.

Please note: This service is for families new to our clinic. If your child is currently being evaluated at The Neurodevelopmental Collective, this type of support is already included in your comprehensive evaluation process.

What's Included:
-
Review of one or more existing evaluations (e.g., IEP assessments, private testing, OT, speech, or Regional Center reports)
-
A brief intake form to help us focus on your questions and priorities
-
A 45–60 minute virtual consultation where we walk through the evaluations together in plain, parent-friendly language
-
Verbal guidance around:
-
What the results say—and what they don’t
-
Whether current services and recommendations seem aligned with your child’s needs
-
What options might be helpful to explore next (school supports, home strategies, or questions to bring back to your team)
-

This is not a new evaluation, and no additional report is created. Instead, it’s a one-time session focused on clarity, guidance, and next steps—without extra paperwork.
Who This Is For:
-
Parents who’ve received evaluations elsewhere and want help interpreting the results
-
Families wondering if the current plan is enough—or if something important might be missing
-
Caregivers considering next steps but aren't sure where to begin
-
Anyone overwhelmed by long reports and educational jargon
Pricing:
$400

If you later choose to schedule a full neurodevelopmental evaluation with us within 30 days, we’ll credit $200 of this session toward that service.

Why Families Choose Us
All Evaluation Navigator Sessions are conducted directly by Dr. Jessica Snowden Patel. She has taught, provided Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), and worked closely with Early Start, Regional Centers, and public school systems. She also brings a unique legal perspective with her M.J. in Child Law, helping families understand both evaluations and their educational rights.
