Beginning the process of a comprehensive evaluation or therapy is a big decision. At The Neurodevelopmental Collective, we want families to feel supported from the very start. Our services are designed to give you clarity, confidence, and a plan that makes sense for your child and family.

Understanding Insurance & Reimbursement
At The Neurodevelopmental Collective, we are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. We understand that navigating insurance can be overwhelming, and we’re here to help you understand your options.
Many families are able to receive partial reimbursement for services through their insurance provider. While we do not communicate with insurance companies directly at any stage, we will provide a detailed superbill and a comprehensive evaluation report, which are typically sufficient for reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits.

Comprehensive Evaluations
Fees are based on a child’s age/grade at the time of testing (not at booking):
Note- as of June 2026, all evaluations are based on the grade for the 2026-2027 school year

IQ-Only Testing
Used for school admissions or gifted program placement.

WPPSI (ages 2.5–6): $800

WISC/WAIS (ages 6+ and adults): $950
IQ-only testing is not medically necessary, so it is not insurance-covered and no superbill is available.

Elementary Academic & Learning Support with Karen Shin
Initial Review and Planning: $675

Services begin with an information-gathering and planning process focused on your child’s strengths, educational experiences, current needs, and family priorities.

With caregiver permission, this may include reviewing evaluations, school records, work samples, and information shared by your child’s teacher or school team. This information is used to prepare an individualized starting plan.
Initial Eight-Session Support Block: $2,025

The initial block includes eight individualized sessions, ongoing planning, brief caregiver communication, and a caregiver check-in.

These first sessions provide time to build a comfortable working relationship, understand how your child learns best, and identify supportive approaches and emerging goals.

At the end of the block, the caregiver check-in provides an opportunity to share observations, discuss priorities, offer ideas for home, and plan the next phase of support.
Continuing Support

After the initial block, families may continue with another eight-session block. As goals and support needs become more established, families will typically transition to 12-session support blocks.

Each block includes individualized sessions, ongoing preparation and planning, brief caregiver communication, and a caregiver check-in.
