Insurance
At The Neurodevelopmental Collective, we are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. We understand that navigating insurance can be overwhelming, and we’re here to support you in understanding your options.
Many families are able to receive partial reimbursement for services through their insurance provider. While we do not communicate with insurance companies directly at any stage, we will provide a detailed superbill and a comprehensive evaluation report, which are typically sufficient for reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits.
Please note:
-
Our evaluations are often more comprehensive than what insurance plans typically cover.
-
We do not:
-
Submit claims on your behalf
-
Call or coordinate with insurance companies
-
Appeal denied claims
-
Modify billing to match insurance rates
-
Provide additional documentation beyond the report and superbill
-
However, we are happy to complete a basic pre-authorization form if your insurance requires it.

Important Reminders
-
We will provide a detailed superbill and the full evaluation report. These are typically enough for insurance submission.
-
If your insurance requests "session notes," they are usually referring to a copy of the comprehensive evaluation report.
-
The amount reimbursed may be lower than our fees. It’s important to ask your insurance provider if there is a cap on reimbursement based on their internal fee schedules.
-
We do not participate in single-case agreements.
Note: For IQ testing only, there is no diagnosis and this is not covered by insurance. A receipt will be provided but no superbill.
